Warwick Road, Whetstone, Leicestershire, LE8 6LW Tel: 0116 2864852 Mob: 07816 139667 Email: blaby@lycp.org.uk Registered Charity Number: 1131191 The Club started life next to the Social Centre in Blaby, in 1964 it moved to 6.5 acres of it's own grounds in Warwick Road, Whetstone where it presently stands. (History) The Club has 20 football teams from under 8's to senior league teams, as well as a busy youth club. We have spent a lot of funds on fencing around the perimeter of the ground to ensure our members can meet and play safely. We have recently built a small all weather training pitch, this is a 3rd generation Astro Turf rubber crumb, this new floodlit facility will allow club teams & other local clubs or groups to hire this training pitch, as well as providing an opportunities for children's parties. To book this facility or for more information phone the club on 0116 2864852 and ask to speak to Dave Palmer. The Club has also raised funds for a computer internet café, which is available during mornings and evenings. Cost of £1 per hour is charged to use this facility. (Please note that the members of the club have preference in the evening sessions to use this facility.) The club is run by a management committee who oversee all aspects of the club.
